1- Destiny D: Inside Out Voices

JOY- Pheobe from Friends

I chose Pheobe for joy because of how she carries herself both when she is alone and around others. She always tries to stay positive but blunt and tries to find the best in the worst situations, usually while making sure her friends are having as much fun as she is. This aspect of her happiness is easy to relate to and something I’ve caught myself doing more than once.  I relate to Pheobe because she is sometimes seen as clueless and is often distracted by her happiness. It is hard for me to be happy and focus on important things which is something I often see her character struggling with as well. I am always worried about how the people around me are feeling, and always want to share the joy with them.

SADNESS- Sally from Nightmare before Christmas

I chose Sally for sadness because of how much I relate to her emotions. In the movie Sally is experimented on and abused by her father figure and creator, Doctor Finkelstein. She often finds herself wishing that she could live a normal life, but that dream is always shut down by her abusive captor who reminds her that she is not normal. This problem of not being able to live normally because of something uncontrollable is relatable in my own life.

FEAR- Rex from Toy Story

I chose Rex for fear because he is such a naturally anxious character. Rex is always worrying about the things that could go wrong and what will happen in the future when they do. He is a very under looked character who lets his fear of the unordinary cloud his judgment and affect his actions. This can cause him to make situations worse in a sense, which increases his anxiety. Overall Rex is just a very fearful character.

ANGER- Fiona from Shameless

I chose Fiona for anger because she is such an emotional angry person. All of her anger originates from her difficult background, especially from being left to raise her siblings on her own. Being so angry because of how she ended up in a certain situation is very relatable. Although the anger is not directed at most of the people involved, she still tends to lash out and often hurt those she cares about because she doesn’t know how to deal with her emotions.

DISGUST- Doja Cat

I chose Doja Cat for disgust because she is very open when it comes to showing that emotion. For her disgust tends to be shown more funny as opposed to what most people would assume disgust would be shown. It is expressed mainly in expressions, and when expressed in words it comes out as more of a joke whether she is serious or not. From facial expressions to body language, her disgust is always very apparent but is not always taken seriously because of how it looks.
