JOY-Jack Johnson
When I think of anything that represents joy, I think of Jack Johnson’s music. The reason as to why his music personifies joy so much is because his lyrics encourage the listener to picture a cozy scenario during the summer or spring. This attitude is also amplified by his guitar through the use of a calm pacing of the strings, followed by upbeat notes to add-on to the positive tone of his lyrics.

SADNESS-Arliss Coates from Old Yeller
When I imagine a character that represents the feeling of sadness, I often think about Arliss Coates, the boy who owns Old Yeller in the movie, Old Yeller. The reason why I think he personifies sadness in particular is because for most of the movie, the audience is experiencing the great moments that both Arliss and Old Yeller have with each other. However, as the movie draws to a close, Arliss and the audience are struck with a tragedy that Old Yeller had contracted rabies while defending Arliss from a rabid wolf. Because Old Yeller has now contracted rabies, Arliss has to put Old Yeller down as he is now a potential threat to Arliss’s family. At this moment, as we see Arliss begin to hold the gun towards his dog, the audience is able to see and feel the pain in Arliss' eyes because he now has to kill, essentially, his own best friend. This is further pushed upon the viewer because, like Arliss, they also developed a bond with Old Yeller as well. So when Old Yeller’s life ends, the viewer is able to feel the overwhelming sense of regret and sadness that the main character would feel at that moment.

FEAR-Tim from Jurrasic Park
When I imagine a character that represents the feeling related to fear, I would most likely associate Tim, the little boy in the movie, Jurassic Park. The reason as to why I feel that he personifies fear is because he is often put in scenarios throughout the film that would prove deadly for even adults, even more so for a kid. A key example of this emotion being portrayed in the film is when he and his sister are trapped in the kitchen with a pack of velociraptors who are hunting them. Since the film already established that velociraptors are ruthless predators as well as the silence of any music in this scene enables the audience to feel the fear and tenseness of his situation as that Tim and his sister would be feeling.

ANGER-John Wick
I believe that John Wick personifies the feeling of anger perfectly. This is because in the beginning of the movie, the viewer can see his motive for being on a rampage as we see how the main villains took away his only momentos of his dead wife. The viewers, upon witnessing this occur, are also able to relate with the protagonist because the viewers also would feel that justice has to be made.

DISGUST- Walkers from The Walking Dead
I believe that the walkers from The Walking Dead are what I imagine as being a symbol of disgust. This is mainly due to the fact that the walkers are shambling corpses. Not only are they undead, many of the walkers in the show are often displayed with a lack of limbs and large sections of their body being absent. Another aspect of the walkers that is particularly disgusting is that as the show continues, their bodies begin to degrade and become progressively more rotten.
