JOY - Danny Rojas (Ted Lasso)
Danny Rojas in the shoe Ted Lasso is famous for running around smiling telling everyone that football is life. I relate to this because football (soccer) is also my life and it’s what makes me happy. Just like Danny when it became not such a happy thing when he kicked the dog with the ball he started to play worse and felt empty, but was able to get back into it and refound how happy it made him. Soccer makes me extremely happy and without it my life would feel really empty.

SADNESS - Ted Lasso
In the Show Ted Lasso, specifically the second season, Ted, who is known for his relentless optimism and happiness develops some sort of depression and anxiety. You can tell he’s not used to feeling this way and he gets really frustrated not being able to figure out why, or how to fix it. This is what relates us to each other. I try to be optimistic and positive whenever possible because I feel like if I can be happy it can spread to others as well. Over the last two to three years however maintaining my mental health has become a very large challenge. I’ve found it hard to cope with emotions that I don’t even know the reasoning behind in the first place. So to deal with them I isolate myself until I can recover enough to brush it off and pretend that it never happened. This is seen a lot in Ted too. Whenever he gets a wave of anxiety or depression he leaves and isolates himself, and you can tell he’s visibly confused as to why he’s feeling this way. Eventually when someone finds him he tries to make it no big deal and puts his usual smile back on.

FEAR - Hughie (The Boys TV show)
In the show The Boys, about if superheroes were corrupt and monopolized by society, one of the main characters Hughie is a young man who’s brought into a team of people fighting back against superheroes after his girlfriend is accidentally killed by one of them. He’s usually very scared of any danger because he thinks of everything that can go wrong. I relate to this because most of my fear revolves around “what if’s?” I overthink every possibility of something going wrong and scare myself into thinking the worst will happen. This is usually what Hughie does too. He thinks of all the risks of whatever they’re about to do and is convinced that they’ll all come true. The only way we both get over them is getting negative thoughts out of our minds and having confidence that we’ll succeed

ANGER - Tom Holland’s Spider - Man
In Spider-Man: Homecoming, Peter is mad that he feels Iron man isn’t listening to him. He feels unheard and I think that’s what would make him Anger in my head. What makes me the most angry is feeling unheard too. When I feel like I’m not being listened to it gets frustrating which is what Spider Man shows a lot of too.

DISGUST - Kanye West
Kanye is known for getting disgusted by people like paparazzi who are constantly in his business. He can’t stand people who won’t let him just live his life peacefully without taking pictures or asking questions. I relate to his disgust of people who constantly need to be in everyone else’s business. I think it’s disturbing to be so caught up in someone else and everything they do. That’s why I understand all the faces Kanye’s made in paparazzi pictures
