JOY: Robin Williams
Robin Williams was a popular actor and comedian who has starred in many different movies and shows. He’s brought millions of people happiness and enjoyment throughout his career, and his movies have always made people laugh. He always had a smile on his face and was always in a good mood. In many of his movies, he improvised and made the film a lot better than it originally was. As soon as you see in the cast that Robin Williams stars in the movies you’re about to watch, you know it’s going to be a funny and exciting movie. He’s also a voice actor, and can accomplish copying almost any cartoon character's voice. Overall, Robin Williams is considered one of the greatest comedians and actors of all time, for his amazing improv skills and joyful personality.
SADNESS: Adele
Adele is an English singer and songwriter, who is a best selling music artist. Most of her songs are solemn, and have a huge amount of emotion in the lyrics. She writes these songs herself, portraying how she’s feeling, which many people around the world can relate to. When listening to her music, it’s like you can feel what she’s going through, and understand her words. Her music can be a good reliever to feel emotion and escape from reality for a bit, as it’s very calming and relaxing as well as sad. She would represent the emotion of sadness very well.
FEAR: Courage the Cowardly Dog
Courage the Cowardly Dog is from a cartoon, and is a small pink dog who’s easily scared. He’s constantly paranoid throughout the show, and doesn’t live up to the name “Courage” very well. He is very kind-hearted, just extremely paranoid. He gets scared of mostly everything, even his own shadow, so he would fit perfectly for the emotion of fear.
ANGER: Gordon Ramsey
Gordon Ramsey is a well known British chef, who has accomplished opening many restaurants around the world. He’s also starred in many different cooking shows, where he’s judged and criticized people’s cooking and restaurants, sometimes helping them become better chefs. Being yelled at by Chef Ramsey would be extremely scary, as he’s stubborn and will not switch sides in an argument, so there’s no way to argue back with him, not that you’d want to after hearing his angry voice. He can easily lose control of his temper, just like the anger emotion in the movie Inside Out. His short temper is what everyone knows him for, so this is why I chose him for this emotion.
DISGUST: Mother Gothel from Rapunzel
Mother Gothel is a character from the Disney movie, Rapunzel. I chose her for the emotion of disgust, because throughout the movie, she’s always disagreeing with everyone else and her face is always showing distaste at any decision that goes against her beliefs. She’s always disgusted with anything her “daughter” Rapunzel does, and criticizes her for her decisions.
